Terms and conditions

Please read these conditions carefully before purchasing goods on Optibeam e-commerce. By placing an order you signify your agreement to be bound by these conditions.

 

Summary:

 

1. Prices are shown in Euros. It depends on the selected delivery contry or location if the price includes or excludes VAT.

  • If your delivery address is located in the EU or Northern Ireland the price includes local VAT.
  • If your delivery address is located outside of the EU the price excludes VAT. Non-EU customers are liable to any import duties, taxes or fees that apply for goods bought from the EU.

2. Our voluntary 14 days return policy applies to all products on our e-commerce variety (excluding gift cards and other immaterial products). The goods must be unused and in mint condition.

3. Order Processing: The amount of time it takes for us to prepare your order for shipping. This typically takes 1 – 2 days. However, some orders may ship within as few as 4 hrs and some may take up to 5 days. Orders placed on weekends or holidays are being processed next monday. If the product is out of stock for some reason, we will contact you as soon as possible.

4. If the item you received was damaged, defective or materially different than shown on our e-commerce you must contact our customer care immediately to claim compensation ([email protected]). Claims must be made within 7 days of receiving the goods.

5. Force Majeure. Seller will not be responsible for any delay or failure in any performance due, without limitation, war, warlike conditions, blockade, embargoes, riots, governmental restriction, labor disturbances, unavailability of anticipated usual means of supplies, transportation or loading facilities, wrecks, epidemics, quarantine, fire, flood, earthquake, explosion, any unforeseen change in circumstances, or any other causes beyond its reasonable control.

1. Order processing and transit time

We always strive to process orders as soon as possible. We pack and ship the goods at latest on the following working day, if we receive the order by 3:00 pm (Finnish time). When we ship the goods you will receive a tracking code for the shipment by email. We will contact you as soon as possible if there is reason to doubt that shipping time is longer than usually expected.

3. Payments

Payment methods

The products/services and applicable shipping fees will be paid when placing the order. The following payment methods are accepted:

Stripe Inc. acts as a collecting payment service provider and is an authorized Payment Institution. Stripe Inc.  will be shown as the recipient on your bank or credit card statement. Stripe Inc. will forward the payment to the merchant. For reclamations, please contact the website the payment was made to.

4. Return conditions

14 days return policy applies to all products on our e-commerce variety (excluding gift cards and other immaterial products). The goods must be unchanged, unused and in perfect condition, this applies the product package also.

Please contact us of the possible return via email at: [email protected] for quick and easy return process. We will send you the forms and instructions for the return.

We hold the right to not accept the return, unless the goods are in perfect retail condition (not applicable to defect goods under warranty).

NOTE! We do not refund the shipping costs for returns carried out in a manner against our return policy and terms.

 

5. Warranty

Optibeam (Optisell Ltd) is in compliance with the Finnish customer protection law (38/1978) concerning defect liability. In addition to this we give our products 12 month warranty which applies with material or manufacturing defects (not applicable to halogen or filament bulbs). If warranty period is different than stated before it is stated clearly on the product information. Warranty period begins with the date on the receipt.

In case of a warranty the product or component that is suspected to be defect is sent to us via customer return and most often is replaced with completely new flawless one if the warranty terms are met. Goods that are misused, modified by customer, not installed properly or against manual instructions or damaged by faulty actions are excluded from warranty. Warranty includes the defect component(s) and shipping costs. Possible installation fees are excluded from warranty. Possible warranty case does not extend the original warranty period which has commenced at the date of product purchase.

 

6. Liability

Producers, distributors and sellers must make sure their goods are safe, and there are strict, documented standards in place so that it’s clear what is acceptable. When merchandise is under customer’s possession, Optisell Ltd doesn’t accept liability for damages: a) to solid or movable possession or property or that is damaged by an accident b) to a product manufactured by buyer or a product included in the manufactured product. Optisell Ltd is not liable for illegal use or installation of products. Optisell Ltd doesn’t accept liability for possible false product information from product importer.

Product(s) use and installation

It is customer’s responsibility to find out the suitability of the product for the intended purpose and to follow and obey laws, directives and safety instructions concerning using and installing product(s). Lumitec Ltd does not accept liability for any personal injury or material damage caused by improper installation or faulty use of product(s). Always read the product manual carefully before installing and using the product.

 

7. Claim conditions

We advice to send any reclamation concerning shipping or products within seven (7) days after receiving the shipment to: [email protected]

 

8. Order cancellation

Customer is free to cancel order, if shipping is not carried out in reasonable timeframe. Order cancellation must be informed by contacting us at: [email protected] . We strive to inform our customers by email if the shipping time deviates from normal time frame. Optisell Ltd and webshop www.optibeamlights.com holds the right to cancel order(s) and to refund canceled order(s).
